Box Book Tour Kick-off a Resounding Success

On March 22nd, Wyoming author C.J. Box began his book tour for Cold Wind with a kick-off event at the American Heritage Center.  The event included a reading from his newest book, a question and answer session, and concluded with a book signing.  Cold Wind is the eleventh book in the “Joe Pickett” series, and is the follow-up to last year’s New York Times bestseller Nowhere to Run

While C.J.’s book can be categorized as contemporary Western fiction, each of his novels also incorporate relevant Western issues that are important to Wyomingites, and in fact all Americans.  In Cold Wind game warden Joe Pickett finds himself involved in a murder investigation that is set against the back drop of wind power development in Wyoming.

In addition to hosting the kick-off event, the American Heritage Center is also proud to be the home of C.J. Box’s professional papers.  The collection consists of manuscripts, promotional materials, reviews, notes, newspaper columns, published books, as well as other materials.
